About Me

My photo
Mr Kuldip Judge
I have started working in my new and exciting position as Media Lecturer at Landau Forte Academy, Tamworth Sixth Form. Previously I have worked for 7 years as a Course Leader of AS/A2 Media Studies (OCR) at Sutton Coldfield College (now Birmingham Metropolitan College). I have also taught widely on the BTEC National Diploma in Media Production (Edexcel) year 1 and 2 and taught extensively on the AS Film Studies programme (WJEC). This is now my 10th year in teaching and the beauty of teaching Media Studies is that it is an ever evolving subject that challenges you to keep abreast of the latest technological advances that will impact on Media Institutions and Audiences. In regards to Institutions processes of Production, Distribution and Exhibition are ever changing in the media landscape. Understanding audiences; their reception, consumption and behaviour towards media products is equally challenging. Technology is allowing the 'former' audience to become the future media generators of content in a 'down up' fashion.
